Dr. Nancy Hampel
Graduated from Michigan State University with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1980. Dr. Hampel is director-owner and Staff Surgeon of Animal Medical Center. Dr. Hampel is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon (1991). She also holds a Master of Science in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois. Dr. Hampel serves as consulting surgeon to San Diego Wild Animal Park, Mesa College Animal Health. She has also served as the Medical Director for National Pet Care Centers. Since 1986, Dr. Hampel has been a practicing volunteer veterinarian for the city of El Cajon.
Dr. Richard Johnson
Graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1977. Dr. Johnson is president and owner of Animal Medical Center. Dr. Johnson has been a Professor at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and San Diego Mesa College (Animal Health Technology Program). He is also currently a member of the California Veterinary Medical Board (Registered Veterinary Technicians Committee).
